Maze Runner The Death Cure - Movie Review

0

Directed by Wes Ball and stars Dylan O'Brien as Thomas who's finds himself in a climactic battle against evil corporation trying to find cure for this terrible decease known as The Flare.

When it comes to the Maze Runner movies, out of all young adult adaptations we have seen of recent years, this is probably been one of the most consistently fine franchises. There is not a awful entry and considerably better than other YA movies like Mortal Instruments, Percy Jackson, or even Twilight.

This movie has great talented people behind the camera and in front of the camera.

With Maze Runner: The Death Cure, Dylan O'Brien continues to impress us. He is one of the young actors that we would love to see in great movies. He was very seriously injured during the making of this movie doing a stunt. It was a life-threatening and making the whole production shut down.

Certainly the Death Cure is not a fantastic film, it basically falls into the same weaknesses of the first two. The first two films are well directed with great action. And the third film is the same. But they all have a story that feels stretched very thin.

But there is plenty to like i this film. But it takes quite a bit of time to tell a very simple story. Gratefully there is a lot of really well action scenes an good enough performances.

Wes Ball has shown himself to be a good director especially with whelming convincing the actions sequences. He made his trilogy. How many times these YA adaptations has a director come in made the first film and got two sequels in a row. Even a giant franchise like The Hunger Games got two directors.

In the end the story was not all there.

Maze Runner The Death Cure rating: 6.5/10
