AverMedia Game Capture HD II is nice, that actual allows to to actually connected to your system and your Tv. What really goot about this product is, how really easy it is to setup. All you have to do is plug in your system HDMI component out in the unit it self then hook it up the unit to your tv.
There's a mic and internet port for live commentary and directly upload what you record straight to Youtube.
Once it hooked up, it's very easy to use. If you want to do anything beyond the basics, remote control is included or simply download the gaming app on the iOS device. These offer you a lot more options to do Game Capture HD II.
You could take capture the screenshot, control a lot of different settings. It also includes basic gaming editing software so you can record and cut it up and directly upload to Youtube without using computer. That sounds a really convenience game capture device!
Portable
Not only it is easy to set up, easy to use, it is also a portable device. If you are intentionally want to record gaming video at your friend's house, You can just hook it up to your tv and start recording. It doesn't need computer, or any software. But, if you want to transfer the footage, you can simply save it into the hard-drive (comes separately), or save it into your flash drive.
