Every year, we have seen a brand new Samsung Galaxy S smartphone, last year we had S8 and for 2018 we are very likely to S9.
The reveal date has never been for certain but Samsung does like to reveal a new flagship in the first quarter of the year. Samsung smarphone chief has confirmed the Galaxy 9 and 9 Plus will be revealed at the Mobile World Congress.
The Galaxy S9 will be launched alongside S9 Plus and we actually have a pretty good idea as to what kind of specifications and features for both devices. But, keep in mind that one of these are confirmed.
Samsung Galaxy S9: What To Expect
S9 is gonna feature 5.8 inch qHD Super AMOLEDdisplay while S9 Plus will feature 6.2 inch. Both of display sizes are the same as the smartphones we had last year, S8 and S8 Plus.
In terms of power and performance, we are gonna see the QualComm SnapDragon 845 processor or or the Exynos 9810 processor for the international model with either 4gb or 6gb of RAM.
Design
The overall design is gonna be very similar to the last year Galaxy S8 with some small exceptions, the biggest of which is that the finger print scanner is rumored to be relocated slightly underneath of the camera sensor instead of right next to it. This will make it much easier to to actually locate and reach with your finger.
Bixby
We are gonna see the Bixby button return. Samsung is going to continue to shove Bixby wheather we like it or not. The will be a USBC port located at the bottom of the phone used for charging and for headphone jack.
We know a lot of you are looking forward to to a big camera refresh, but unfortunately the the new phones will return with similar specifications in the camera department. (that's what we thought anyway).
Battery
As for battery capacities, we're probably gonna see a 3,000 mAh battery in the S9 and 3,500 mAh in the S9 Plus.
We are likely to see a bottom facing speaker that can be tuned to output a louder sound.
If you are a specs and features junkie like us, you 're gonna want to probably spring for the S9 Plus.
