Scott is extremely good at breaking into people's houses and stealing stuff and one day Hank Pym decided to recruit him because there is some business going down, some end of the world type stuff (of course) that needs to be stopped.
Ant-Man is a great, awesome movie. Paul Rudd nailed it as Scott Lang. He is such a likeable edition to the MC. Douglas, gosh! To hear his voice was such a delight. Not just because he is Michael Douglas. But he gave Hank Pym such a good back story.
The story focused on Pym and his daughter really added a great depth in this movie and I though it really took it in a good direction. Whenever it needed that humor, Michael Pena.. Holy shit. Every word that comes from his mouth is perfection.
There is not a single aspect of the CGI in this film is cliche or cheesy or suck. I like the way this film tide in to other Marvel's movies.
This movie was knowingly and willingly small scale. Which is perfect because the hero is also a small scale. I love the fact that Ant Man didnt need to be some big bloated extravaganza with tonnes of stuff flying all over the place.
So I give this movie a A-.
I don't think I've laughed so hard in any other Marvel film.
