iOS 11: Beta 6 Changes. Let's take a look at what's new with the latest 6 Beta of iOS 11 and as always we get yet more visual changes.

One of the is the new Maps icon which reflect the new location of the Apple Park Campus. We actually get a Maps icon that's been updated for that location.

App Store icon

We also get a new App Store icon so this is second iteration within the iOS 11 Beta, which means they keep changing even though things they have been changing already. But this time around it's much more abstracted although it still looks like stylized 'A', it no longer incorporates the tools of the previous design. In fact, it kind of look like a pile of pop sickle sticks.

Reminders App

Apple also fixed the Reminders App icon so the bullet points read from the left to the right rather than reverse.

Clock

Another icon that gets a visual tweak is the Clock icon which gets bolder and bolder numbers but that's pretty much the theme of iOS 11. Much more contrast so things stand out.

Air Pods Animation

One of our favorite new feature for 6 Beta is the new Air Pods animations. When you open up your Air Pods, you now see 3D representation of those components right on your screen.

Widget

If you remember from the 5th Beta, we get a little indicator on the upper right corner of the media control widget. But this time if you connect to some devices like headphones or Bluetooth speaker it actually pulsates in blue just to let you know that your media is currently being broadcast or play on another device.

 FaceTime calling sound

Another tweak or changes from the 5th Beta feature is the new calling sound for FaceTime which has been sped up. Even if we got new tone from the last release, it is now faster so the interval are not quite as far apart.

Speaking of FaceTime, another feature debuted is the FaceTime photograph. Previously we used to use the screen grab feature but now you can actually take photograph right from the FaceTime app.

Unlock effect

Apple keeps changing the Unlock Effect, this time they sort of combined two visual effects. Swipe up of the lock screen and zoom out of the Home Screen
