Dunkirk Movie Review

Dunkirk Movie Review. Dunkirk is directed by Christopher Nolan and it is based on the true event when 400,000 soldiers with their back to the sea trapped on the beach completely surrounded by German forces that were coming in and no way to get home. The the concerted organized effort to save those guys.
Trust us, this is one of the most intense films you are going to see this year. The way Nolan sculpts this story is is so impressive. We heard early on on some screenings that a lot of critics are saying there's not a lot of characters development in Dunkirk and audience won't get to know the characters.
But, what you realize is that this movie is not about any of the characters. Dunkirk is about on particular moment. Nolan want to take the audience and immerse them into a situation that happened once. He wanted you to feel all the intensity, tension, and fear of being trapped and attacked.

When the bullets are whizzing by and the boats are sinking you  did not need to see bloo…

Straight Outta Compton - Movie Review

Straight Outta Compton Movie Review. Straight Outta Compton is directed by F. Gary Gray and it is about the formation of the group N.W.A in the late 80s until early 90s and their impact of the music scene in everything that has happened since as a re precaution of their artistry. All the hardships they came along with the lifestyle they are leading as well as the difficulties they had to make themselves actually be considered legitimate artist.

The main three members in this movie mostly focuses on Ice Cube, Dr Dre, and Eazy-E. If you don't know who these people are, the were extremely influential in their field.

The first hour of this movie was extremely entertaining and well paced. You see Ice Cube sitting on a bus, writing notes about lyrics. You felt his desire in music. The Dr Dre practicing spinning on his table and you felt this intense passions the had for their art.

That's one of the reasons why didn't like the last half of the movie as much because as the band went downin the money aspect, the movie gets more dramatic and more personal. You loose that passion in their eyes.

Overall film I had a great time watching it. Despite the last half didn't stand out, it was still a entertaining movie. Ice is played by the real life Ice Cube's son and he did a great job in the movie.

So I am going give this movie 8/10!
