I am going to tell you why you shouldn't buy the new Apple Watch. Some people really enjoyed using Apple Watch during a few days, but there's definitely a few reasons why you should not get and purchase one just yet.So without further due, here is some reasons why.
Expensive
So I'm sure you guys know about is that the watch is really expensive in the eyes of many. Starts at $350 and goes all the way to $17,000! So the entry level models are 38mm Sport Model
The thing is these Sport Model does not feature Sapphire Crystal Display so it is not nearly as durable. It means you at least have to spend another $200 to get the standard Apple Watch with stainless steal enclosures. In smartwatch market, that is considered very expensive. Although there are nice, I would say that the price for these bands are super expensive.
Size
It comes with 38mm and 42mm model and most of the people would prefer 42mm model. Being someone who has small wrists, they find it pretty small surprisingly. So it would have been nice if apple had offered an even larger model. Or perhaps next year, we will an edge to edge display.
Durability
In $359 and $400 model, which quite a bit of money, Apple has used a different glass material Ion-X glass instead of Sapphire Crystal Display. What people saw from some early drop and scratch test on the Ion-X glass, it seems like it cannot stand much.
Computer on Your Wrist
I am sure a lot of people will agree. I would say that the Apple Watch is sort of computer in your wrist, although Apple probably doesn't want to describe it that way.
I let you glance at your notifications but it also has built in apps as well. For a social stand point, staring at your watch is disrespectful. From having apps and even full games on your wrist, I am sure a lot of people will be getting distracted by using it perhaps too much.
Although the Apple Watch is very functional, perhaps it brings you too close to the technology and too connected to the internet.
So this is some of my reasons why you shouldn't by the new Apple Watch.
