X-Men: Days of Future Past screenwriter Simon Kinberg has confirmed that the next film, X-Men: Apocalypse will focus on Mystique and it will be the final part in the trilogy. According to Kinberg, X-Men: Apocalypse will explore more about Mystique and Beast relationship and the closing of those characters from First Class. But it doesn't mean that we won't see them in future movies.
Kinberg said, the friendship between Erik and Charles has always been emphasized in the franchise and they will digging it even deeper in Apocalypse.
He said, the relationship between Beast and Mystique is a really interesting one that we didn’t have a lot of time to explore in Days of Future Past, so we’ll have an opportunity to do more of that in Apocalypse.
If you watch the famous franchise, you will notice that Mystique's character is interesting in so many ways. She grew up with Charles and became Eric's woman. But Mystique is also secretly playing romance with Beast.
But wait, would it be awkward if X-Men Apocalypse focuses on Mystique and Beast romance? Because those characters played by Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult and they are no longer dating. Both started dating while filming X-Men First Class in 2010, then they both call it quits this year after four years of dating.
After all, X-Men: Apocalypse releases date is May 27th, 2016. Waiting is suck.
