By
adding 'Pro' to the name of their table lines, Samsung was making one
thing clear. All of the 'Pro' line of tablets come with the great power
and uncompromising performance. The smallest of the bunches just be the
best mid-size tablet. Here is my review of Samsung Galaxy TabPRO 8.4.
DESIGN
There
is one good way of describing the TabPRO 8.4. It's like a blown up
Galaxy Note 3, the pretty flat profile all around and slightly rounded
corners, it is an assuming design until you take a look at the back. The
back which take the ull faux leather textured plastic originally
introduced in Note 3.
The
button layout is pretty classic Samsung but this is the first line of
devices to deal with the signature set up front. Instead of the menu
button, there is a recent app button to add to the simple multitasking.
As far as the handling goes this TabPRO 8.4 is nice and really light. Comes in
331 grams and 7.2 mm thick. The top and bottom of the screen are nicely sized that do help with landscape handling.

DISPLAY
TabPRO 8.4 super clear LCD is the smallest of the Pro line. But come with the same amount of power with a super high 2560 x 1600 resolutions. Pixel density of 359 ppi,
and also consdering the distance, this tablet might stay from your face
because this is very a sharp device and great experience.
Samsung
its powers once again with the screen that really awesome and provides
wonderful viewing angle on top. It is not n=gonna stop you from enjoying
all of the media you throw at it. Everything from Youtube videos,
Netflix, or even video games.
PERFORMANCE
TabPRO 8.4 provides quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.3 GHz, and
the Adreno 330 GPU. It can't
be argue, even the slightly version of it, still the device has issue
with speed and sometimes the starter. But I am pretty sure that it is
because of the high resolutions.
You do get a 4,800 mAh unit inside the power a decent amount of time. It gives you maybe a day or or day and a half worth of heavy usage.
CAMERA
An 8 megapixels
on the back of the device provides a decent experience that falls in
line with other tablets in the market. It gives you quite a bit of
functionality but not the highest quality.
SOFTWARE
The
updated version of Touchwiz comes with a new tiled interface, called
the Magazine UX. Especially on the larger tablets, it really takes
advantage of the screen and works really well. The Magazine UZ is like a
Flipboard.
